2020 NOW

Our opportunity to do better.

Our world is only 8.6% circular. That means over 91% of all the materials we use are either wasted or lost. This is our opportunity to do better. And we can! The circular economy offers solutions that can limit global warming, safeguard our finite natural resources and boost equitable societies.

Without strong action to reduce emissions, climate change is projected to cut the global area suitable for coffee production by as much as 50% by 2050. By 2080, wild coffee, an important genetic resource for farmers, could become extinct.
